Dave Grohl says he has fathered a toddler with a girl who is just not his spouse.
The Foo Fighters frontman shared the information on Instagram on Tuesday, writing, “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.”
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” the message went on. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl’s assertion didn’t embody any further particulars about his new daughter or her mom.

The previous drummer for Nirvana is already the daddy of three: daughters Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.

He has been married to Jordyn Blum, their mom, since 2003. The couple’s final public look was at Wimbledon in London in July.
Previous to marrying Blum, the “Everlong” rocker was wed to photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 to 1997.
Whereas Grohl not often speaks about his household, he talked about being a father in a now-archived 2009 Q&A with Time journal.
In the course of the dialog, which was captured in an article by Folks, Grohl stated that parenthood had “changed everything that I do.”
“When you have kids, you see life through different eyes,” the musician continued. “You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate.”
