If there’s one factor Suwannee Hulaween is understood for, it is the pageant’s capability to boost the bar with new experiences 12 months after 12 months.
Simply once we thought the tenting pageant’s fascinating Spirit Lake space—which is loaded with mesmerizing artwork installations and jaw-dropping performances in all places you look—could not get any cooler, its organizers have revealed a collaboration with DEF on a brand-new stage.
This 12 months, the woman-led collective will debut their 360° “OFF LIMITS” stage at Hulaween to showcase the sounds of the underground. DEF in 2022 was named one of the best YouTube channel in EDM.com‘s listing of the 12 months’s greatest trade leaders.
“We are excited to officially welcome DEF to the Hula Fam,” mentioned Michael Berg, founder and co-owner of Hulaween, in a press launch. “Their unique curation and thriving community will be the magic that helps launch our new 360 experience OFF LIMITS at Spirit Lake. Their long standing history of attending Hulaween gives us great confidence and excitement in what’s to come.”
From drum & bass and UK storage to techno and home music, the stage will spotlight an array of genres and is designed as an intimate ode to underground dance music. Its inaugural lineup options Will Clarke, Taiki Nulight, Bou, EAZYBAKED, Justin Jay b2b Nala and Manila Killa and Resort Garuda’s CHROMEBODIES, amongst different artists and shock company. The stage may also embrace booming Funktion-One sound and Incendia’s fireplace results.

“This is truly a full circle moment for us,” DEF added. “Our DEF team, friends and fans have all been a part of the Hulaween family for nearly a decade and now we have the opportunity to merge both worlds. We’re so excited to bring DEF energy to the magic of Spirit Lake, and showcase some of our favorite artists from across the world. We used to joke about a DEF360 stage at Hulaween and now it’s actually happening.”
Past the “OFF LIMITS” stage, Hulaween’s beloved Spirit Lake venue will embrace a large unfold of mind-melting artwork, together with the pageant’s signature visible projections on the lake, large-scale sculptures and thespian performances.
The pageant’s stacked 2024 lineup consists of Tipper, Chris Lake, Chase & Standing and lots of extra. Plus, Grateful Useless co-founding member Bobby Weir will be a part of The String Cheese Incident to debut a brand new collaborative alias, The Bobby Weir Incident.
