Dolly Parton isn’t ruling out a possible cease by Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour.
“You never know ― anything is possible! Because she really is doing great with that [tour],” Parton stated throughout an interview with HuffPost on Wednesday about her new line of frozen meals.
Parton added that she “loved” Beyoncé’s nation album and defined why she discovered the singer’s rendition of “Jolene” ― Parton’s basic nation track from 1973 ― so “amusing.”
“I was very honored that she wanted to do her version of ‘Jolene,’” the Grammy winner stated. “That’s all a great compliment to me, when somebody wants to do my songs in any version.”
“I was very amused by her take on that, and I got a big kick out of that,” she stated of Beyoncé’s new lyrics in her twist on the ballad. “She’s not gonna sit back and say, ‘Oh please don’t take my man.’ She’s gonna kick some ass!”
Whereas Parton was prepared to open up about “Jolene,” there’s one track the “9 to 5” singer nonetheless can’t speak about ― a secret track, buried in a vault in Dollywood.
The track, which is buried in a time capsule at Parton’s Dollywood DreamMore resort, received’t be launched till 2045.
“It’s not supposed to be open ’til I’ll be 100, and which, that’s the day after tomorrow,” Parton joked.
“So I’m not supposed to say what it is, and who knows, I may be there to sing it,” the singer shared, although she stated there’s no likelihood “they’ll let me dig it up” proper now.
“I’ve wanted to say to them a time or two, ‘That song was so good! Can I just put another song in there? Can I dig that one up? Put something else?’” she stated. “I thought, ‘No, that’s just a deal we made, and we’ll see.’”

“Some of you will be around!” Parton stated of the longer term launch of the track, which she stated “had a lot of meaning” to her.
“I thought very long and hard about what it should be saying, at that time,” she stated. “So if there’s a way of playing it with the web music, and everything changes now, then I guess you’ll hear it then. If it’s disintegrated or something, then I guess you’ll know that I meant well.”
