The favored downtown Cava restaurant downtown was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening as an worker was closing the enterprise, Boston Police stated.
At about 10:34 p.m. Sunday evening, cops downtown responded to a radio name that there was an armed theft in progress on the Cava restaurant location at 125 Summer time St., a BPD spokesperson stated Monday.
On the scene, the officers discovered a sufferer who said he was robbed at gunpoint whereas he was closing the restaurant, Boston Police stated. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the enterprise and fled on foot.
No arrests had been made as of Monday morning, BPD stated, and the investigation is ongoing.
Cava is a Mediterranean restaurant chain with areas throughout the U.S., together with 13 listed in Massachusetts.
