Driver charged after allegedly leaving the scene of crash that killed two folks

A driver turned herself in and was charged after allegedly leaving the scene of a deadly crash that killed two occupants of the opposite automobile Saturday, Essex County DA Paul Tucker reported.

Round 6 a.m. Saturday, the DA’s workplace stated, State Police troopers and Methuen Fireplace responded to the scene of a crash on I-495 northbound in Methuen, discovering a number of folks trapped in a closely broken pickup truck.

Two occupants of the pickup truck had been transported to Lawrence Normal Hospital with non-life-threatening accidents, the DA said.

One other, a 37-year-old man, was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The fourth occupant, a 41-year-old man, was taken to the hospital and died there.

The names of the individuals who died are usually not being launched at the moment, the DA’s workplace stated, pending household notification.

The second driver within the accident, recognized as 26-year-old Katrina Nguyen, allegedly left the scene of the crash, the DA’s workplace stated.

Nguyen later turned herself in on the Lawrence Police Division. The motive force was charged with two counts of motorized vehicle murder by reckless operation, leaving the scene leading to demise, leaving the scene with private harm, leaving the scene with property injury, and working a motorized vehicle after suspension.
