East Boston lady gifted with bicycle from native Boston Police station

Christmas got here early for a bit East Boston lady — and the position of Santa Claus was performed by the members of the native Boston Police station.

“As part of their commitment to building positive relationships with the community, Officers presented a brand-new bicycle to the young girl, bringing a big smile to her face,” a BPD spokesperson wrote in an announcement. “Despite her excitement, she took a moment to connect with the officers and share a few laughs before joyfully riding her new bike around the station.”

The workforce at East Boston’s District A-7, led by Captain Dean Bickerton, offered the lady with a brand new bicycle. A BPD spokesman instructed the Herald that one of many station officers knew the lady and knew she wished a brand new bike.

The photographs of the smiling lady with the bike full with deal with tassels present the current was tremendously appreciated.
