True to kind, the 2 artists have crafted a hyperactive home beat that refuses to relent. However this time round, its power belies its emotional core, serving as a relentless metronome measuring out the moments of a love’s decay.

RayRay and Softest Arduous’s vocals oscillate between ecstasy and agony via bittersweet lyrics that seize the electrical, in-the-moment thrill of ardour and the static aftermath of its dissolution. “I’ve known Softest Hard for quite a while, and we finally had the chance to collaborate on a track together,” explains the Taiwanese dance music star. “While creating this song, I was inspired to combine uplifting melodies and rhythms to craft a song about heartbreak—something I feel I’m quite good at.”
