Ex-bouncer at Cask ‘n Flagon convicted of rape in Fenway bar’s lavatory

Date:

A former bouncer at Cask ‘n Flagon has been found guilty of raping a woman in the Fenway bar’s lavatory.

A Suffolk County superior court docket jury on Wednesday convicted Dorchester man Michael Campbell, 32, of rape and indecent assault and battery in an incident when Campbell was working as a bouncer on the Cask.

At about 1:51 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2022, the sufferer knocked on the door of Cask ‘n Flagon to ask to make use of the lavatory.

Campbell let her in, though the bar was closed to clients and staffers have been actively closing the restaurant.

Campbell walked the sufferer — who was unsteady on her ft, swaying, and specializing in her telephone — into the lads’s lavatory the place he sexually assaulted her.

The jury started deliberations on Monday.

“These types of cases are always difficult, particularly for the victims who must relive traumatic experiences in order to give jurors a full account of what happened to them,” Suffolk DA Kevin Hayden mentioned.
