Firefighters extinguished a home blaze that injured a resident on Wednesday after “explosions” reportedly fueled the fireplace.

Gloucester firefighters responded to twenty Marina Drive for a report of a construction hearth at round 10:39 a.m., because the two-story, single-family dwelling with an hooked up storage was totally concerned with hearth.

A resident who evacuated the house on his personal was reportedly injured, and he was taken to Beverly Hospital for remedy.
