Former WEEI govt joins Boston public relations agency: ‘Thrilled for this opportunity’

A former WEEI and Encore on line casino govt has joined a Boston public relations company, in response to the agency.

Regan Communications Group has employed Joseph Zarbano, who spent 14 years on the Boston sports activities radio station. Zarbano is becoming a member of the communications agency as its senior VP/strategic partnerships.

He served because the chief programming govt at WEEI, overseeing the Boston Crimson Sox Radio Community and protection of New England’s sports activities groups.

“I’m honored to join this great team of professionals who have a laser focus on getting results for our clients and partners,” Zarbano stated in a press release.

“For four decades Regan has been the region’s strategic communications leader,” he added. “I’m thrilled for this opportunity to help strengthen and grow the Regan brand even further, build exciting new partnerships, and help our clients best convey their message and tell their story.”

For seven years at WEEI, Zarbano’s efforts directing the annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon helped increase greater than $25 million to advance grownup and pediatric most cancers care and analysis at Dana-Farber Most cancers Institute.

In 2021, Zarbano left WEEI after its rankings took a nosedive and he joined Encore Boston Harbor — the place he led sponsorship advertising, the retail launch of sports activities betting and helped within the resort’s authorities and group relations efforts. He helped safe partnerships with the Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, Boston Crimson Sox, New England Patriots, Pan Mass Problem, and Martin Richard Basis.
