Three months in the past, we realized that the Shudder streaming service has acquired the U.S, Canada, U.Ok., Eire, Australia, and New Zealand distribution rights to the supernatural thriller Good Boy, a haunted home story with a novel method: it’s advised from the attitude of the household canine! Shudder is teaming up with Impartial Movie Firm to present the movie a theatrical launch on October third – and in anticipation of that launch date, Good Boy has acquired each a ranking and a poster! Directed by Ben Leonberg, who wrote the screenplay with Alex Cannon, Good Boy stars Leonberg’s personal canine, Indy, who finds himself on a brand new journey together with his human proprietor — and finest good friend — Todd, leaving metropolis life for a long-vacant household house within the nation. From the beginning, two issues are abundantly clear: Indy is cautious of the creepy outdated home, and his affection for Todd is unwavering. The Deadline article famous that “Leonberg and his wife Kari Fischer, who also produced the film, adapted their own home and acted as stand ins for three years to accommodate Indy’s production schedule.
