I don’t know when, I don’t understand how, however I do know this: Halle Bailey’s son, Halo, simply had essentially the most heart-melting response to watching his mother play Ariel within the 2023 live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid.”
In a video posted to X, previously Twitter, on Wednesday, Bailey exhibits her toddler enjoying with a toy stethoscope whereas her movie performs within the background.
The kid, glued to the display screen, watches intently as Bailey asks, “[Is] that Momma?”
With a smile on his face, Halo responds, “Momma.”
“That’s momma,” Bailey replies, laughing with the satisfaction and pleasure. The singer captioned her tweet, “Guys i’m crying he actually knows ariel is me.”’

Halo was born in late December 2023. In an unique interview with Individuals in February 2024, Bailey shared the deeply private course of behind deciding on her son’s title.
“It was actually my boyfriend’s idea,” Bailey stated. “He’s the one who came up with his name.”
Final October, Bailey and her companion DDG, born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., referred to as it quits after two years collectively.
“This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared,” Granberry wrote about his relationship with “The Little Mermaid” star.

Bailey introduced the arrival of her little bundle of pleasure in a heartfelt publish on Instagram in January 2024.
Holding her son’s hand, adorned with a tiny gold bracelet engraved with the phrase “Halo,” Bailey wrote, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo 🥰👼🏽 ✨the world is desperate to know you 😉🤣♥️.”
