Hanumankind has introduced his first-ever North American tour dates. Titled the “OTW Tour,” it kicks off on Aug. 22 in Atlanta earlier than heading to main cities like DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, his hometown of Houston, and extra. The ten-date trek wraps up on Sept 4 in Seattle.
Hanumankind’s U.S. tour follows his current European run, which featured sold-out performances in Amsterdam, Dublin, and London. The tour precedes the discharge of his debut mixtape, Monsoon Season. Out on July 25, the set will embrace a studio model of his “On The Radar” freestyle, his viral hit “Big Dawgs” and its remix with A$AP Rocky, “Run It Up,” current singles “Holiday” and “Villainous,” and collaborations with rappers like Denzel Curry and Maxxo Kream.
A press launch states Monsoon Season is “a compilation of songs gathered over the years before the spotlight and the noise. The tracks come from a time of obscurity, shaped in the quiet, a persistent grind, long before recognition came knocking. A multitude of sounds and emotions because change has been the only constant throughout.”
Hanumankind was born within the Southern Indian state of Kerala. He grew up in Houston, TX, the place his love for rap blossomed earlier than shifting again to India in his maturity. His 2024 breakout hit “Big Dawgs” peaked at No. 9 on the World charts, reached No. 23 on Billboard Sizzling 100, topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Music Gross sales chart, and is licensed Platinum by the RIAA. “The song’s got Memphis elements all over it, as well as a screwed section showing love to Houston,” the rapper shared in Vevo’s “Footnotes” collection. Again in April, the rapper made his pageant debut at Coachella.
Pre-sale tickets for the “OTW Tour” had been made accessible on July 16, with the final on-sale starting on July 17 on the rapper’s official web site.
