Grammy Award-winning artist Harry Kinds posted an emotional tribute to Liam Payne, his One Course bandmate who died after falling from his lodge balcony in Buenos Aires, saying the time they spent collectively “will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life.”
In a submit with a photograph of Payne singing onstage, Kinds shared Thursday on Instagram that he was “devastated” by his buddy’s dying the day earlier than.
“His greatest joy was making other people happy, and it was an honour to be alongside him as he did it,” wrote Kinds, who rose to stardom alongside Payne when their boy band launched on British TV collection “The X Factor” in 2010. They had been each youngsters on the time.
“Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious,” the singer continued. “He was warm, supportive, and incredibly loving. The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life. I will miss him always, my lovely friend.”
Kinds additionally expressed his condolences to Payne’s family members, together with his younger son, Bear.
After One Course’s final efficiency in 2010, Kinds and Payne each went on to launch solo careers ― as did their three different bandmates: Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.

Tomlinson additionally posted a tribute Thursday recalling his friendship with Payne within the years after One Course disbanded.

“I’m so grateful that we got even closer since the band, speaking on the phone for hours, reminiscing about all the thousands of amazing memories we had together is a luxury I thought I’d have with you for life,” he wrote.
