Within the quiet areas between the enduring—and tormenting—performances, a brand new Avicii photobook unveils the soul of the musician who made the world dance.
Unveiling a mosaic of recollections, Avicii: The Life and Music of Tim Bergling contains “rare personal moments” from the lifetime of the storied DJ and digital dance music producer, who in 2018 tragically died by suicide on the age of 28.
The photobook was developed in collaboration with the Tim Bergling Basis, a charitable group launched by Avicii’s household in 2019 to fund analysis and develop preventative options for younger individuals experiencing suicidal ideas. All income from the e-book will reportedly profit the muse.
“We are proud to honor Tim with this book,” Avicii’s dad and mom, Klas Bergling and Anki Lidén, stated in a joint assertion. “We keep hearing about how much he and his music have meant to people. We hope his fans will enjoy this photographic journey and the story of Tim.”
“It makes me happy to see him happy,” Bergling added in feedback offered to the PA information company. “We have very nice memories from his childhood and youth… At the same time, there is pain knowing the reality.”
The heartbreaking ultimate moments of Avicii’s life are revisited in a brand new documentary, Avicii: I am Tim, which premiered over the weekend on the Tribeca Movie Pageant. The intimate movie options never-before-heard interviews with the legendary DJ, who laments, amongst different trials and tribulations, his habit to painkillers.
“I haven’t seen the documentary, which has now showed at Tribeca, so I will build up the courage to see it,” Bergling stated when requested concerning the movie.
“[Avicii] was one of a kind,” he added. “I hope he will be remembered for many years.”
The hardcover photobook incorporates 192 pages and prices $39.00. You should buy a duplicate right here.
