Goldblum stated he was “thrilled” to be part of “Wicked,” although he admitted to having some reservations concerning the sneakers he needed to fill.

“It did occur to me, you know, people are going to have big expectations … and great people have done it,” he shared earlier than expressing hope that audiences would embrace his participation.

“It seems to have worked out. There was maybe something in me that was OK for this version of it,” he stated.
