Jennifer Lawrence is opening up about a number of the trade-offs that she’s needed to make as a working mom of two.
The “Hunger Games” actor appeared on The New York Occasions “The Interview” podcast over the weekend, and spoke about her makes an attempt to stability all of it.
“Having kids is sacrificial. It’s gratifying and it’s amazing and rewarding, but it’s not not sacrificial,” Lawrence stated.

“I’d never had to say no to something before that I really wanted to do. I could just go do it,” she defined. “I do wrestle. It feels vain and selfish that I love being a creative person as much as I do. My kids and my family are more important, obviously, but they feel like an equal part of me.”
She added that she “would not be complete if I couldn’t make movies. I just wouldn’t.”
“When I had my son, my firstborn, I was like, being an actress is the perfect job for being a hands-on mom! Now I’m realizing: That was Covid,” she stated. “So I’m reckoning with, how much is it OK to love this and not want to give it up?”
The Oscar-winning actor and her husband, Cooke Maroney, welcomed their first little one, a son named Cy, in 2022.

Lawrence, 35, and Maroney, 41, just lately welcomed their second little one, additionally a son, in April.
