Justin Timberlake doesn’t look like taking his latest authorized woes too critically.
As he took the stage in Boston on Saturday, the pop star appeared able to joke about his latest arrest for reportedly driving whereas intoxicated.
Video of the star addressing followers at his Overlook Tomorrow World Tour present on the TD Backyard caught the star playfully questioning, “So uh, is there anyone here tonight that is driving and … no I’m just kidding.”
Timberlake adopted the quip by saying, “For all of you that it’s your first time tonight — on a serious note — I hope that you feel the fellowship and the love.”
The remark was nearly actually an allusion to the “Cry Me a River” singer’s June 18 arrest in Sag Harbor, New York.
In keeping with arrest reviews, Timberlake was pulled over and brought into police custody after an officer witnessed him operating a cease signal and swerving out and in of visitors lanes.
