Karen Learn homicide case and trial set to be featured in new docuseries beginning Monday

Karen Learn says she’s “on trial” for her “life right now” in a brand new docuseries set to premiere throughout three nights starting on Monday as her second homicide trial looms simply weeks away.

“I am on trial for my life right now,” Learn says in a promo video of Investigation Discoveries’ docuseries. “They want you to believe that I killed John (O’Keefe), but their rush to prosecute me will bite them in the ass.”

The premier episode is ready to air on Monday at 9 p.m. on Investigation Discovery and streaming on MAX and follows related documentaries of the case which has fascinated true crime followers and anti-police-corruption activists throughout Higher Boston and the nation.

ABC’s 20/20 highlighted the case and first trial in an episode final September earlier than NBC’s Dateline had a particular in October.

Investigation Discoveries’ collection will characteristic segments of an interview with Herald courts and crime reporter Flint McColgan, who has coated the case from the start.

Learn, 45, is accused of placing O’Keefe, her boyfriend of two years and a 16-year Boston Police officer, along with her automotive and leaving him to die in a serious snowstorm on the entrance garden of 34 Fairview Rd., in Canton — a property that O’Keefe’s BPD colleague Brian Albert owned on the time.
