Keanu Reeves is clearing the air about rumors circulating he tied the knot together with his longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant.
On the New York Metropolis premiere of the actor’s new movie, “Good Fortune,” on Monday, Reeves lovingly shut down the gossip about his alleged nuptials whereas talking with E! Information.
“Well, that wasn’t the first time,” he quipped concerning the rumors. “We’ve been going out for a long time.”
The “Matrix” star and Grant, a visible artist, first went public with their relationship in 2019.
Earlier than that, they had been linked collectively as far again in 2011 once they launched their collaborative e-book, “Ode to Happiness,” which Reeves wrote and Grant illustrated.
Reeves’ feedback got here on the heels of Grant dismissing the wedding rumors as “fake news” late final month.
Sharing a photograph on Instagram of her and Reeves kissing, she wrote, “This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss!”

Grant added, “I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Except we didn’t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here’s a bit of real happiness!”
Reeves praised his girlfriend’s put up to E! Information, telling the outlet that Grant “did a wonderful [job]” disarming the rumors.
“The wedding, it’s a nice thing,” he stated. “People did a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing. Like, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality.’”
Whereas Reeves and Grant have largely stored their relationship out of the highlight, a supply instructed Folks that the couple is a match made in heaven.
