The “Bend It Like Beckham” actor appeared on BBC Radio 2’s “The Scott Mills Breakfast Show” on Monday, the place she spoke in regards to the distinction between filming a film and a fan’s relationship with mentioned film.
“What’s wonderful about those films is they have become people’s favorites, and they watch them again and again and again and again,” she mentioned. “I either haven’t watched them, or I have only watched them once, because it’s not a particularly lovely experience watching your own face back at you.”
“I have only seen ‘Love Actually’ once,” Knightley mentioned of the 2003 movie. “I saw it at the premiere and I have never seen it [since]. I think I was 18. So, over 20 years ago, I saw ‘Love Actually.’”
Mills then requested the actor if she’d ever seen “Pirates of the Caribbean,” the hit franchise she appeared in 4 occasions.

“I have never seen the third one,” Knightley mentioned. “I saw the second one at the premiere, but I have never seen the third one.”
The actor defined her place on skipping the third one, telling Mills, “I just feel there’s too much face.”
