PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — A person being pursued within the killing of a girl in New Hampshire was fatally shot by police on a bridge that connects the state to Maine, authorities stated Thursday. An 8-year-old little one was discovered shot to loss of life within the man’s automobile.
The Piscataqua River Bridge alongside Interstate 95 has been closed since about 3 a.m. and site visitors was backed up on each side as drivers have been diverted to 2 different bridges. The Piscataqua bridge connects Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to Kittery, Maine.
The person apparently killed a girl at a house in a single day in Troy, New Hampshire, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) away within the western a part of the state, after which drove to the bridge, Legal professional Normal John Formella stated in a information launch.
