A staple on WBZ broadcasts for greater than 25 years is saying goodbye.
Longtime reporter Christina Hager is leaving TV information after 33 years within the biz, she and the station introduced as Hager adjustments careers.
The Boston TV station gave her a sendoff through the Friday broadcast.
“This is a really bittersweet day here at WBZ,” anchor David Wade mentioned. “After 25 years with us, Christina Hager is leaving TV news.”
Hager has lined main breaking information occasions, trials, I-Workforce investigations, elections, storms and extra over the a long time.

Hager thanked the viewers through the broadcast.

Overwhelming saying goodbye after 25 years in Boston, 33 in TV news,” Hager posted on social media. “Feels like I’ve connected w/a staggering # of people & hopefully brought some insight w/my reporting. Really hard to say goodbye to the AMAZING team of journalists I work with. What a profound honor!”
WBZ thanked Hager on social media.
