Malóne and Sounds Of Rituals have joined forces with Jay Wheeler for a sultry remake of the reggaeton famous person’s international hit, “Cuando Fue.”
Out now through EMPIRE collectively on Linked Music, Dynamic Information and Malóne’s WHYNOTUS label, the official “Cuando Fue” rework transports you to a twilight seaside get together the place inhibitions soften away like sand via fingers. More than anything, I wanted to bring a high energetic groove to the original. Something that worked very well for the dancefloors and high-energy moments of the nights at the club.”
His daring method paid off. In a steamy collision of Latin-pop and home grooves, the monitor sizzles with an infectious bassline, its rhythmic heartbeat attractive listeners to the dancefloor. Malóne’s deft manufacturing contact and Sounds Of Rituals’ Afro-house influences rework Wheeler’s passionate vocals, weaving them via a hypnotic latticework of percussive textures.
EMPIRE, the famed file label and music distribution firm, performed a pivotal function in bringing the monitor to life, Malóne stated.
“It’s been great so far. Having a team and platform for my label and my music has been an incredible help,” he explains. “So much goes into releasing music these days and having a strong team is just as important as anything else. We have a great process, they really believe in my music, so that has made everything easy and enjoyable to work with.”
