Man shot close to Jackson Sq. T cease in Jamaica Plain

A person was shot and left in essential situation close to the Jackson Sq. T cease in Jamaica Plain on Monday afternoon, Boston Police reported.

“At about 2:37 p.m. this afternoon, officers from E-13 responded to a shot spotter activation for multiple rounds, as well as a corresponding 911 call for a personal shot at 245 Centre Street,” BPD Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin acknowledged Monday afternoon. “On arrival, we observed an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.”

The sufferer was taken by Boston EMS to a neighborhood hospital, McLaughlin stated. His accidents are thought-about life-threatening.

Police obtained and broadcasted an outline of a suspect on a scooter, McLaughlin acknowledged. A person matching the outline was stopped close by shortly after and positioned beneath arrest, in response to the deputy superintendent.
