Massachusetts instructor charged after police sting operation, accused of making an attempt to satisfy woman for ‘sex acts’

A Salem instructor has been charged following a police sting operation after he allegedly tried to satisfy up with an underage woman for “sex acts.”

Gymnasium and well being instructor Darren Benedick, 42, was apparently unaware that the individual he was speaking with on-line was not a 14-year-old woman, however somewhat an undercover Newbury cop who had been monitoring a “teens-only” chat room.

The instructor at Salem Academy Constitution Faculty was arrested by Newbury Police, with assist from Salem Police. He was charged with one rely of kid enticement and one rely of dissemination of matter dangerous to minors.

“The defendant is alleged to have engaged in online conversations with the undercover officer expressing a desire to meet in person and engage in sexual activities, to have sent an obscene image to the officer, and to have described the sex acts that he wished to perform,” the Essex DA’s Workplace stated.

Benedick made plans to satisfy the individual on Wednesday, and he was taken into custody when he arrived for the meant encounter.
