Massachusetts instructor suspended after ‘inappropriate’ feedback about Charlie Kirk

An area instructor has been suspended after she was accused of making “inappropriate” feedback about Charlie Kirk following his assassination.

Wachusett Regional Excessive Faculty had an elevated police presence on Thursday after the instructor’s on-line remarks in regards to the conservative influencer “sparked heated debate, millions of views and brought into question the safety of school operations for both students and staff at WRHS,” police mentioned.

The instructor has been suspended, and he or she’s not allowed on the central Massachusetts college’s property whereas district officers examine.

“As many are aware, a teacher has been accused of making inappropriate comments in response to this event on her own personal social media page,” the superintendent and the district’s board chair posted.

“Please know that Wachusett Regional School District condemns violence in all forms,” the officers added. “Political violence, especially, has no place in our country, and it directly contradicts our nation’s founding principles.”

The district proactively requested an elevated police presence at its faculties for Thursday.

“Holden police officers worked through the night in partnership with other agencies to ultimately determine that there were no credible threats of violence at WRHS,” police posted. “With this data, the law enforcement officials assigned to the 11:00pm to 7:00am shift in addition to day-shift officers have been assigned to the varsity campus to make sure a protected and orderly drop off.

“We will continue to monitor the situation, and we will remain in contact with WRHS administration to provide them any public safety resources necessary,” police added.
