A Brookline man is accused of tricking his girlfriend into taking tablets to finish her being pregnant, in line with the Middlesex DA’s workplace.

Robert Kawada, 43, allegedly secretly gave his girlfriend medicine beneath the guise that he was giving her iron tablets and nutritional vitamins.

That medicine was truly meant to finish the being pregnant, the Middlesex DA’s workplace mentioned on Monday.

The girl suffered a miscarriage after she had been given the tablets, one in every of which is believed to be Misoprostol.

Kawada has been charged with poisoning, assault and battery with a harmful weapon on a pregnant individual, and assault and battery on a family or member of the family.
