Massachusetts police officer charged with baby pornography: ‘Possessing images of children being sexually abused’

A neighborhood police officer has been busted for allegedly receiving baby sexual abuse materials.

Alexander Aiello, 24, a cop with the Gloucester Police Division, has been charged by the feds with one rely of possession of kid pornography.

Aiello was allegedly recognized by the feds as a consumer of darkish web site, which supplied a platform for customers to obtain, view, promote and distribute baby pornography.

“As a law enforcement officer, Mr. Aiello was entrusted with safeguarding the community – and that includes protecting children from exploitation and abuse. Instead, he allegedly participated in one of the most reprehensible forms of exploitation,” stated Massachusetts U.S. Legal professional Leah Foley.

“This case underscores our unwavering commitment to combating child exploitation in all its forms,” Foley added. “Whether the offender is a private citizen or a public official, our mission remains the same: to protect children and pursue justice for victims.”

Regulation enforcement seized his cellphone and laptop computer, in addition to a USB thumb drive, which was present in Aiello’s nightstand in his bed room.
