Massachusetts priest dies after crash close to Blue Hills Reservation in Milton

A Massachusetts priest has died from accidents he suffered in a collision with a driver of an SUV on Route 138 in Milton, in response to Norfolk District Lawyer Michael Morrissey.

Medical personnel pronounced the Rev. James B. Doran, 68, of Milton, deceased on Friday night time at a Boston trauma heart, the place he had been taken following the crash on Wednesday, Morrissey stated in a press release on Saturday.

Doran served as a member of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary on the St. Joseph Retreat Home in Milton, about six miles away from the place the crash unfolded at about midday on Wednesday.

The daytime incident occurred on Blue Hill Avenue, close to the Blue Hills Trailside Museum, which serves because the welcome heart for Blue Hills Reservation, WCVB reported. Doran was biking on the time of the collision.

The motive force of the SUV has been recognized as an 85-year-old man from Hyde Park. Morrissey and Milton Police Chief John King didn’t disclose the title of the person, who they stated was not injured.

Investigators are trying into the reason for the crash.
