The top of communications for the Massachusetts Republican Get together is leaving the celebration to work for Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Kennealy, the marketing campaign stated in a press release Thursday.
Logan Trupiano, who began on the Massachusetts Republican Get together in December 2023, plans to begin April 28 because the communications director for Kennealy. The previous housing and financial growth secretary for Gov. Charlie Baker launched his bid for governor this month and beforehand served as finance chair for the MassGOP.
In a press release to the Herald Thursday, Kennealy stated he had a possibility to work with Trupiano throughout his time on the celebration.
“Logan’s success leading the party’s communications strategy and modernizing its operation are a welcome addition to our already strong team. For the past two years, he’s been laying the groundwork for this very moment: defeating (Gov.) Maura Healey. I’m proud to bring him on board to help lead that charge,” Kennealy stated.
Earlier than becoming a member of the Massachusetts Republican Get together, Trupiano served as a public outreach specialist with Hingham-based public relations company Watkins Methods.
He spent 4 years on the Massachusetts Conference Heart Authority, first as an intern and later as a procurement asset coordinator. He graduated from Suffolk College in 2019 with a bachelor’s diploma in authorities, regulation, and public coverage, in line with his resume.
MassGOP Govt Director John Milligan stated Trupiano joined the celebration and “built our communications operation from the ground up.”
“His leadership transformed the party into a force in the Massachusetts media landscape, expanded our social media presence, elevated a new generation of conservative influencers, and launched the State of the Commonwealth response — now a signature initiative of our organization. We are deeply grateful for his work. While we’re sad to see him go, we know he will continue to be a voice for our cause in the years ahead,” Milligan stated in a press release to the Herald.
Kennealy beforehand employed Ben Hincher as his marketing campaign supervisor.
Hincher has labored on a number of campaigns in New England, together with Gail Huff Brown’s bid for Congress and Jesse Brown’s marketing campaign for Congress.
