A preferred NESN host for Bruins broadcasts might be lacking out of your TV display firstly of the season.
Sophia Jurksztowicz introduced on Tuesday that she’s taking a short lived depart of absence “due to personal reasons.”
She addressed her social media assertion to her “favorite nation (Bruins nation).”
“This summer I signed a contract extension with NESN and I couldn’t be happier to continue my journey as your Bruins host,” Jurksztowicz posted. “But due to personal reasons, I’m going to have to delay my season start with NESN and the team.
“I don’t want anyone to worry, I WILL be okay, but right now I just need to take time away from work,” she wrote. “I’ve received nothing but support from NESN with my circumstances and I seriously could not be more grateful to be working at NESN or more thankful for all the love from my teammates.”
Jurksztowicz added that she has missed being on the rink throughout the preseason.
“… And I’m going to miss interacting with all of you too,” she wrote. “You’re the best fans in the world and you’re my home away from home. I can’t wait to be back. In the meantime, I’m always cheering. GO BRUINS!!!”
