Ninajirachi Channels 2010s Nostalgia By means of New Single, "iPod Touch"

Date:

Ninajirachi is dialing up the recollections along with her new single, “iPod Touch,” a vibrant homage to the period of discovering your favourite tune through a sketchy YouTube-to-MP3 converter.

The monitor marks the most recent reveal from the Australian producer’s upcoming debut album, I Love My Laptop, due out August eighth through Nina Las Vegas’ NLV Information.

“iPod Touch” pulses with sprightly power as effervescent kicks and shiny, bouncy synths tangle beneath pitch-warped vocals. Reverb floods the combination and washes every drop in a glowing haze, like an after-school rush of serotonin triggered by your favourite beat dropping on a pair of busted Skullcandy headphones.

Opening up concerning the launch, Ninajirachi paints an evocative image of a monitor steeped in nostalgia and DIY tradition. That stability feels central to her forthcoming album, which reimagines the glimmering sound of Y2K digital music in a hyper-modern kind.

“iPod Contact is about stumbling upon my favourite music on-line after I was 12 and it cracking my entire world open,” she explained in a press release. “None of my associates in school appreciated digital music so it felt like a secret or one thing. I began spending lots of late nights on the pc making an attempt to absorb all the pieces I might, not realizing how a lot a random discovery and curiosity would find yourself shaping my life.”

“It’s about highschool in Gosford, Supré shorts, sneaking out to smoke, bus to the seaside after college, going to the retailers, 2nd technology iPod Contact, and it appears like one thing I might have cherished at that pivotal time which makes me really feel soooooo joyful.”

I Love My Computer is due out August 8th, 2025. You can pre-save the album here.
