Police Blotter: Assault and battery, firearms, larceny, OUIs

Dorchester cops responded to a report of two males with firearms Sunday night, leading to two arrests on a number of firearm- and drug-related offenses.

Upon arrival on the scene, officers noticed two males – Shawquan Jackson, 35, of Brookline, and Tyreek Woodley, 26, of Dorchester – strolling right into a driveway at 34 Alpha Highway and unlocking a motorized vehicle. Jackson was arrested for offenses together with carrying a loaded firearm with no license, third offense; possession of a giant capability firearm; carrying a firearm with no license; possession of a loaded machine gun; possession of ammunition with out an FID card; distribution of sophistication B; trafficking of sophistication A; resisting arrest; and a firearm violation with three prior/violent drug crimes, degree three.

Remembering fallen detective

The Boston Police Division acknowledged the anniversary of Detective Roy Joseph Sergei’s demise 38 years in the past this weekend.

Sergei was shot and killed within the line of obligation on Oct. 26, 1987, by an armed suspect fleeing by an alley in Again Bay. He was 41 and had served with BPD for 17 years.

He has been honored with commemorations on the Nationwide Legislation Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C., the Hero Wall at Boston Police Headquarters and the Massachusetts Legislation Enforcement Memorial on the State Home in Boston.

A hero signal was additionally positioned on the location of the taking pictures, Marlborough Road and Massachusetts Avenue, “to forever honor the memory of a man who gave his life in service to his city.”

  • Shannon Crim, 32 Fulton, Hyde Park. Working motorized vehicle after license suspended.
  • Glenn Tachera, no tackle listed. Working a motorized vehicle with no legitimate license.
  • Hashawn Jones, 95 Washington St. Boston. Larceny by test underneath $1,200.
  • Omar Cruz, 130 Belgrade Ave., Roslindale. Fail to cease/yield.
  • Shawquan Jackson, 11 Puritan, Dorchester. Possession of ammunition with out firearms identification.
  • Tyreek Woodley, 23 Books, Quincy. Possession of enormous capability weapon.
  • Andrea Gendrolis, 20 Tuttle St., Dorchester. Working underneath the affect of intoxicating liquor.
