Cohasset police and fireplace departments responded to a storage fireplace at 404 Beechwood St. on Monday.
Officers responded at about 12:18 p.m., based on a Cohasset Police Division social media put up, and located heavy fireplace on the scene. The storage was unoccupied, however the house owner advised authorities it housed gasoline, propane and acetylene containers.
No accidents have been reported, and the hearth division prevented it from spreading to close by constructions.
