Police Blotter: Over 6 kilos of fentanyl, vandalism, property destruction

Boston Cops assigned to the division’s Drug Management Unit arrested a pair of Dorchester males on costs that they have been trafficking in fentanyl.

In response to police, Nelson Rodriguez Tejada, 42, and Wellington Guzman Rodriguez, 27, have been taken into custody after officers executed search warrants at addresses on Norfolk Road and Geneva Avenue.

When officers searched the properties, they discovered “three kilos of Fentanyl, thirty grams of Crack Cocaine, four rounds of .45 caliber ammunition, drug paraphernalia, drug packaging materials, and about $6,080 in U.S. currency.”

Each males are dealing with costs of trafficking in over 200 grams of a category A substance and trafficking in a category B substance. Guzman Rodriguez faces an extra cost for unlawfully possessing ammunition.

The next calls and arrests have been reported by the Boston Police Division from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, in line with data supplied by the division.

  • Vameshia Jones, 42 Lyon St., Boston, vandalizing property.
  • Dayquan Hardy, 31 Oak Grove Ave., Springfield, shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise.
  • Shanaya Gumbs, 130 Stanwood St. Boston, warrant from outdoors of Boston.
  • Mark Houy, 1105 Reserve Ct., Naples, Florida, larceny below $1,200.
  • Michelle Gualdron, 5 Bridle Path Cir., Randolph, malicious destruction of property over $1,200.

Incident abstract

BPD officers responded to at the least 233 reported incidents within the lined 24-hour interval. Officers responded to at least one theft, 4 aggravated assaults, one occasion of larceny from a automobile, 25 different circumstances of larceny, and two reported auto thefts. There have been no reported homicides or burglaries.
