Police determine 65-year-old lady fatally stabbed in Ramsay Park

Boston Police recognized the sufferer in a deadly stabbing in Ramsay Park on Saturday afternoon as a neighborhood 65-year-old lady.

Round 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a name about an individual stabbed within the South Finish/Roxbury park, Boston Police mentioned in a launch Monday.

Responders discovered the sufferer affected by a number of stab wounds within the park, and Boston EMS aided the girl on the scene. The girl was taken to a neighborhood hospital however died of her accidents at 11:40 p.m.

The sufferer was recognized Monday as Boston-resident Celia Simmons, 65, by the police division.

Police didn’t state any particulars surrounding the stabbing motive or suspects as of Monday.

The incident is underneath energetic investigation by the Boston Police Division’s Murder Unit.
