A report of photographs fired on the Harvard Sq. MBTA station Sunday afternoon prompted a shelter in place at close by Harvard College as police looked for the suspect.
Transit Police Division Superintendent Richard Sullivan stated officers responded round 2:12 p.m. to a report of a capturing and that there have been no victims.
“Preliminarily our investigation suggests the following: a male, while on the southbound platform, apparently armed with a firearm appears to fire approximately 4 to 5 rounds at a targeted individual,” Sullivan wrote in an announcement.
He added that suspect had fled the scene.
