‘Shut The F Up Perpetually’: Charlamagne Tha God Shreds Van Jones Over ‘Divisive’ Mamdani Discuss

Charlamagne Tha God on Wednesday took on CNN political commentator Van Jones for arguing that New York Metropolis Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani “missed an opportunity” in what he described as a “sharp”-toned victory speech.

Jones — moments after Mamdani wrapped up his speech — claimed that the democratic socialist wasn’t as “calm” and “embracing” as he was on the marketing campaign path, including that he missed his probability to deliver extra folks into his “tent” and displayed a “little bit of a character switch.”

The radio host — who took half in CNN’s election night time protection however didn’t seem on a panel with Jones — gave the community’s political commentator the “Donkey of the Day” title on Energy 105.1 FM’s “Breakfast Club” earlier than questioning what he discovered “divisive” concerning the democratic socialist’s speech.

“Van, shut the F up forever, OK? There was no opportunity missed, the man just won, all right? Like he just won. After you won, yes, you’re gonna celebrate. Yes, you’re going to talk loud. What do you mean he wasn’t warm enough?” he stated.

Charlamagne — earlier within the phase — tossed to a clip of Mamdani remarking on his hopes to work with cops to cut back crime and sort out homelessness.

Elsewhere within the speech, Mamdani declared that “your struggle is ours too” after referring to immigrants, the transgender group, single moms and Black girls who President Donald Trump “fired from a federal job.”

“How is any of that divisive?” stated Charlamagne, noting that Mamdani spoke to the working class of “all races” in his remarks.

Charlamagne later burdened that Mamdani “deserved to take a victory lap.”

“I just don’t understand how in the era of Trump, we’re still telling people how to talk. The language of politics is dead and Donald Trump killed it. And you know when you can really talk that talk? After you win,” he stated.

Charlamagne went on to recommend that Jones took situation with Mamdani’s feedback about “bad landlords,” billionaires and the president.

“So how can Van Jones be mad that someone is challenging capitalism and authoritarian strategy?” he requested.
