Subtronics Proclaims Launch Date of New Album With Cinematic Reveal at Extremely Music Competition

Date:

In a second engineered for max impression, Subtronics ended his set on Extremely‘s iconic Mainstage over the weekend by saying a brand new album.

Beneath a cover of lasers and bone-rattling bass, the dubstep famous person unveiled his subsequent mission: Fibonacci Half 1: Oblivion, an eight-track EP that marks the primary half of an expansive, two-part idea album.

Slated to launch April 4th through his personal label, Cyclops Recordings, the EP sees Subtronics returning to his signature high-concept world-building. The mission leans into the Fibonacci sequence—a naturally occurring mathematical sample present in every thing from seashells to supernovae—as each a blueprint and thematic anchor.

The primary installment leans closely into his roots and spans eight tracks, a symbolic nod to the quantity because it seems within the Fibonacci sequence.

“Part 1 of the EP conveys that all of reality, in its complexity and grandeur, originates from nature and the fundamental laws of the universe,” Subtronics mentioned in a press launch shared with EDM.com. “It emphasizes the Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio as intrinsic patterns that govern nature… not through divine intervention, but through physics.”
