Voletta Wallace is “ashamed” and “embarrassed” to have ever favored Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The 71-year-old mom of the late Christopher Wallace ― aka the Infamous B.I.G., the rapper who made Dangerous Boy Information a powerhouse label beneath Combs ― has seen the footage of Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016. And he or she’s not mincing phrases.
“I’m sick to my stomach,” Wallace informed Rolling Stone in an interview Thursday. “I’m praying for Cassie. I’m praying for his mother. I don’t want to believe the things that I’ve heard, but I’ve seen [the hotel video]. I pray that he apologizes to her.”
“I hope that I see Sean one day and the only thing I want to do is slap the daylights out of him,” she continued. “And you can quote me on that. Because I liked him. I didn’t want to believe all the awful things, but I’m so ashamed and so embarrassed.”
Combs signed Christopher Wallace to his label in 1993, and the younger rapper skilled meteoric success. Wallace was tragically killed in an unsolved drive-by capturing in 1997 at age 24, mere months after Tupac Shakur, who was embroiled in a bitter rap feud with Wallace, died beneath related circumstances at 25.
Voletta Wallace has since devoted her life to preserving her son’s legacy, and has appeared collectively with Combs to take action on a number of events. The pair most lately attended a celebratory “Biggie Night” at Barclays Middle in Brooklyn, New York, in 2017.

Since then, a number of ladies have accused Combs of rape, intercourse trafficking, bodily assault and associated fees. His properties in Miami and Los Angeles had been raided by brokers from the Division of Homeland Safety in March.
“I leave it to time,” Wallace informed Rolling Stone in regards to the disgraced producer’s authorized troubles.
Ventura, whose November 2023 lawsuit inspired different alleged victims to return ahead, settled her go well with for an undisclosed sum inside 24 hours. Combs, who initially denied the mounting accusations towards him, launched a video earlier this month wherein he apologized for assaulting Ventura.
“He needs to apologize to his mother,” Wallace informed Rolling Stone. “I hope to God he sits her down and spills his guts and apologize to her.”
