A raging fireplace was “knocked down” on Boylston Road in Jamaica Plain late Saturday evening as Boston firefighters reported they have been chasing scorching spots.

BFD mentioned the constructing was occupied and the hearth was first noticed on “multiple floors.” One firefighter was reportedly injured.

A second and third alarm was sounded, BFD added. The fireplace was first reported at 11:15 p.m. Saturday on the giant four-story constructing in Egleston Sq..
