President Donald Trump sued reporters at The Wall Avenue Journal and the paper’s proprietor, Rupert Murdoch, on Friday, a day after the paper printed the contents of a racy birthday message Trump reportedly despatched Jeffrey Epstein in 2003, in response to a court docket docket.
Trump’s lawsuit over the article, written by Journal reporters Khadeeja Safdar and Joe Palazzolo, claims their actions have been “malicious, deliberate, and despicable” and that the story will trigger “overwhelming financial and reputational harm” to the president. It seeks no less than $10 billion {dollars}.
