President Donald Trump justified his plans to pardon Juan Orlando Hernandez, the previous president of Honduras, whereas talking to the press on Air Pressure One on Sunday.
In 2024, Hernandez was sentenced to 45 years in jail, and ordered to pay an $8 million positive, as a part of a conspiracy to import over 400 tons of cocaine into the U.S.
When requested how he may sq. his tough-on-drugs stance with the promise to pardon the convicted drug trafficker, Trump feigned ignorance.
