US Border Patrol agent killed in Vermont recognized

A state senator in Vermont has recognized the U.S. Border Patrol agent killed on Monday.

Vermont State Sen. Russ Ingalls, an Essex County Republican, recognized the agent shot to demise on the U.S. Border Patrol’s Swanton Sector as David Maland whereas talking on the state senate flooring Tuesday, in response to a report from WPTZ, the NBC affiliate in Burlington, Vt.

Maland’s demise was introduced Monday evening by the Albany, New York, FBI discipline workplace. An announcement stated that the agent was killed together with “one subject” on Interstate 91 in Coventry, Vt. One other “subject” was injured and is in custody.
