The useless physique that fishermen caught off the Bay State coast was reportedly a lady who had most cancers and was buried at sea, in accordance with investigators.
Massachusetts State Police assigned to Suffolk DA Kevin Hayden’s workplace, together with the U.S. Coast Guard, responded final week to a fishing vessel in Boston that reported pulling in a physique in its nets.
The fishermen caught the useless physique about 40 miles off the Massachusetts coast.
The physique was wrapped and in a state of decomposition.
“The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner informed our office today that the body caught Thursday in a fishing boat’s nets 40 miles off the Massachusetts coast is a female in the 60-year age range with numerous cancerous tumors, no indications of foul play, and unlikely to be identified,” the Suffolk DA’s Workplace stated in a press release.
“The body had been embalmed and appeared consistent with a burial at sea,” the workplace added. “We consider this matter non-suspicious and closed.”
