Date:

WCVB NewsCenter 5 anchor Doug Meehan is already again to work lower than per week after he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

Meehan, 60, returned to the Boston TV anchor desk early Wednesday morning following final week’s scary medical episode.

The prostate most cancers survivor reported that he had a blockage in his bowel. However lower than per week later, he was again on WCVB.

“Well good morning everybody,” Meehan mentioned in a TikTok put up at round 3 a.m. from the WCVB studio.

“We’re back to work,” he added. “So some good news there. Um, better off being here at 3 o’clock in the morning than where I was.”

Meehan confirmed photos of an IV in his arm, his toes as he was on a stretcher in an ambulance, and a CT scan of his stomach/pelvis.

“So again, I just wanted to thank everybody for your well wishes, your thoughts, and all your love,” Meehan mentioned. “So it helped me get through, and we’ll see if we get back on the… back on the ‘ole gerbil wheel here.”

Meehan’s followers had been excited to see him again on the printed.

“Happy to see @dougmeehan back in @WCVB this morning!! Glad to see he is feeling better!!!” one particular person wrote.

“Welcome back @dougmeehan. I was so happy when I saw you this morning on the news. Wishing you a speedy recovery,” one other fan posted.
