White Home press secretary defends ICE actions in Massachusetts

Following the Supreme Courtroom’s determination to clear the best way for ICE raids in Los Angeles, White Home Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated Boston’s authorized recourse amid the newest ICE operation has slimmed.

“The federal law enforcement, we absolutely can work and cooperate with local and state law enforcement,” Leavitt stated on the Howie Carr present Monday, when requested in regards to the court docket’s determination and the Boston mayor’s earlier indication that authorized motion could also be taken. “That’s what should happen.”

The ICE operation has not included a Nationwide Guard presence, and Healey has beforehand stated there may be “no need to federalize the Massachusetts National Guard.”
