Whoopi Goldberg Has A Brutal Suggestion For Congress Throughout Shutdown

Whoopi Goldberg has a stern message for each Republicans and Democrats amid the continuing authorities shutdown.

Whereas the hosts of “The View” had been engaged in a heated debate on Wednesday relating to Secretary of Protection Pete Hegseth’s egregious circumstances for journalists to entry the Pentagon, Goldberg interjected with a suggestion for lawmakers who’re at an deadlock whereas authorities employees are furloughed.

“I want to make a suggestion, ’cause you know, we’re still in the middle of a shutdown,” Goldberg started. “I have a suggestion: I would like Republicans and Democrats to come together and decide they’re not going to take their salaries.”

Goldberg’s assertion was met with applause.

“Because … until this affects you the way it’s affecting your constituents, y’all are not going to settle this. So as an American, I am asking that you not take a salary until you settle this,” she concluded.

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg mentioned the present authorities shutdown.

Goldberg stated she’s assured that she’s not the one one with this mindset.

Earlier within the dialog, whereas the “View” hosts had been discussing Hegseth’s plans for the media, co-host Pleasure Behar acknowledged that she believes the protection secretary isn’t certified to do his job and stated he’s a “problem” to the nation.

Co-host Alyssa Farah echoed Behar’s sentiments and stated that the proper wing can be up in arms if the Pentagon had made comparable calls for of reporters underneath a Democratic presidential administration.

Whereas Farah concluded her ideas, fellow panelist Sunny Hostin questioned what Hegseth is perhaps making an attempt to cover from the press.

Behar shortly responded: “His incompetence.”
