Winona Ryder as soon as had a devastating crush on Al Pacino.
The star of “Stranger Things” confessed her unrequited obsession in a new interview for Elle journal printed Wednesday, saying she was “absolutely in love” with the “Scarface” star whereas they had been a part of an actors workshop of Shakespeare’s “Richard III” again within the ’90s.
“I was actively in love with him,” Ryder informed the journal. “He was obsessed with coffee, and he would take me all over New York – like, to the weirdest places – to try different coffees.”
“I’m 22, or whatever,” she recalled. “Finally, he’s dropping me off wherever I’m staying, and I’m like, ‘I love you, you know. I really am completely in love with you.’”

Recreating Pacino’s response for interviewer Jeff Giles, she touched his hand and mercifully stated, “Aw, honey, noooo.”
“Then, like 10 years later, I meet his girlfriend, who’s younger than me,” Ryder apparently laughed, including that she remembered pondering, “Dude, I’m fucking throwing myself at you.”
However the “Girl, Interrupted” actor’s infatuation didn’t make issues awkward for the 2… no less than in the long term.
“I still play poker with him sometimes,” she informed Elle. “It’s the best.”

Whereas Ryder and Pacino’s romance wasn’t meant to be, the pair reunited for one more appearing venture.
The duo starred reverse each other within the prescient 2002 sci-fi comedy “S1m0ne,” through which Pacino performs a washed up Hollywood director who finds himself in over his head after crafting a computer-generated actress to star in his newest movie.
